Adjustment of a former fortress
0
0
In 1968, the Fort de Brégançon was transformed into a presidential residence by Pierre-Jean Guth, architect of the French Navy and winner of the Prix de Rome. What remained of the original fortress has been preserved, and a white corner house, almost modest in appearance, has been fitted out. It houses, on one side, the presidential wing; on the other, five guest rooms on the first floor and staff and security service quarters on the ground floor.
