Although the tradition of wooden toys has persisted since 1911 at Maison Vilac, the working tools have significantly evolved. The cutting of wood is now carried out on calibrated machines that greatly facilitate the work. A vacuum cleaner mounted on the machine swallows most of the wood chips and guarantees better air quality for the workers. However, the machines are not all-powerful, and the know-how of the craftsman remains essential for the safety of the gestures.
