A Martinican songwriter and performer, Jean-Marc Templet is also a recognized choreographer responsible for the dance company Black Birds. This artist responsible for a cultural center and designer of events has set up numerous tours in Martinique, Guadeloupe, Guyana, and Paris to promote Caribbean music and, more specifically, zouk. He is currently working on the creation of Zouké, an international festival-competition of zouk dance to support this emblematic music of Martinique. The winner from each country will be invited to his island to participate in the grand final in 2023.
