The gardens of the Musée International de la Parfumerie constitute a veritable open-air botanical conservatory and flagship of the agricultural and landscape heritage interpretation program of the Grasse region. They are also a tool for raising awareness about organic gardening, thus giving an essential place to sustainable development. The field crops of species traditionally grown for perfumery use compost, green manure, and other mulching techniques to provide plants with the elements necessary for their development while respecting the soil and optimizing the water supply.
