For Inuit people, caribou's hunting happens in Autumn. Before skins could be made into clothing, women first have to be washed, dried, scraped and softened. Skin must not be ripped during butchering. Skin preparation and sewing work have to be done quickly to ensure that the clothing would be ready for winter.
