Inuit people are an aboriginal people; they primarily inhabit northern regions of Canada. The Inuit language is Inuktitut and the word “Inuit” means the people. In Canada, Inuktitut has five main dialects: in Ulukhaktok, one of only two villages of Victoria Island, and inhabitants speak mainly Inuinnaqtun and English.
