In the Race area of the Cité de l’Automobile-Collection Schlumpf (City of Automobile-Schlumpf Collection), the decor, sounds, images, and even smells recreate the starting line of a Grand Prix. The collection presents exceptional racing models such as a Panhard & Levassor two-seater from 1908, a Mercedes W125 from 1937, a Maserati 250F from 1957 or a Lotus type 33 from 1963. The Bugatti types 32 and 35 were a highlight on the world’s racing circuits in the 1920s.
