Perpendicular to Rue de la Verrerie, Rue de la Chouette leads to Notre-Dame Church in the historic center of Dijon. This picturesque cobbled street lined with corbelled half-timbered houses starts on Rue Jeannin and Rue de la Verrerie and ends a few dozen meters further on at Place Notre-Dame and Rue de la Préfecture. It owes its name to a lucky sculpture in the shape of an owl located on the north exterior wall of Notre-Dame Church.
