Impressive needles of Bavella

The needles of Bavella located in Southern Corsica in the Alta Rocca massif are spectacular rocky peaks rising up to 2952ft (900m) high. The highest, Punta Alta, culminates at 6086ft (1855m). They are the result of a slow erosion that has shaped a very resistant alkaline granite for millions of years.
