Since May 27, 2017, Le Havre in the Seine-Maritime department has welcomed a work of art from the artist Stéphane Thidet. In the city's Bassin du Commerce, immense jets meet to form Impact, a water sculpture representing the elements that interact with the territory of Le Havre. The fountain originates from two modules installed in the basin about 132 ft (60 m) apart that project colliding jets of water. Its temporary and brief occurrence creates specters of light on the basin.
