Protected islets of the Nouméa region

0
Many islets (Larégnère, Signal, Canard, Maître, Amédée, Pointe du Kuendu...) located near Nouméa are natural reserves placed in the marine protected areas of the Southern Province of Grande-Terre. They remain accessible to the public but are regulated. Hunting, fishing, collecting or removing fauna, flora, minerals, fossils are prohibited there just like the introduction of animal or plant species, the dumping of waste or toxic products and the fires outside the dedicated spaces.
