Islet off Houaïlou
The Houaïlou region - on the east coast of Grande-Terre in New-Caledonia - is not the most developed in terms of tourism or infrastructure. However, it has a great diversity of coastal or mining landscapes, valleys and humid forest. Several islets with fringed white sand vegetation are located near its coastline.
