The Nile crocodile is a reptile that mainly feeds on fish. It is ichthyophagous. Very opportunistic, it is also able to attack bigger preys such as antelopes, that it ambushes at the water's edge. Very agile in water, the Nile crocodile is also very fast on land and can reach speeds of up to 8 miles per hour.
