The female Hyalinobatrachium fleischmanni, a glass frog, lays up to 30 eggs on the underside of a leaf, near or just above a stream. During the incubation period, both female and male attend their eggs. Two weeks after laying, the tadpoles of these glass frogs fall into the water, where they continue their metamorphosis.
