Throughout the Castle of the Clos de Vougeot, the wooden harvesting baskets are now used as decorations. The monks gathered to pick beautiful bunches of grapes ripened by the summer hot sun with these heavy wooden harvesting baskets. There are no longer used, and replaced by much lighter baskets.
