Situé au numéro 1 de la rue de Tilsit, à proximité des Champs Élysées, cet hôtel particulier de style second empire a été construit en 1867. Il est classé aux Monuments Historiques depuis 1976.
Il fait partie des 12 hôtels particuliers dits des Maréchaux, dessinés par l’architecte Jacques Hittorff en 1853, sur ordre de l’Empereur Napoléon III lors des grands travaux de réaménagement de l’Etoile.
