Microporus affinis es una especie de hongo de la familia Polyporaceae. Fue descrito por primera vez en 1826 como una especie de Polyporus por los botánicos alemanes Carl Ludwig Blume y Theodor Nees. Otto Kuntze lo transfirió a Microporus en 1898.
Es un hongo que vive de la madera muerta. Se encuentra y es común en zonas tropicales de ambos Hemisferios de la Tierra.
