At the heart of the Regional Nature Park of Corsica, a geological curiosity attracts a lot of hikers. From the pass of Bavella, the bravest climb to an altitude of about 1,350 m (4,429 ft) to have a close look at a hole piercing the rock. The nicknamed « hole of the bomb » seems very small at a long distance but it is actually 8 m (26 ft) in diameter because of the natural erosion of the granitic rock by wind and rain.
