History of the Tower of L'Osse

0
Located in the commune of Cagnano, the Tower of L'Osse is the best preserved defense and observation tower of the Corsican Cape since its restoration in 1980. It was built in 1599 thanks to the Corsican Cape communities' funds and was guarded by two torregiani. After the French conquest, it was managed by the public services before being bought by Pr Ambroise Ambrosi who donated it to the Society of Historical and Natural Sciences of Corsica.
