The SEPECAT Jaguar is a Franco-British designed fighter aircraft that entered service in 1973. The single-seat version (A) was dedicated to ground attack and tactical support. The two-seater version (E) was intended for training in combat schools. More than 570 Jaguars were built in France and Great Britain, and 170 of them were exported (Ecuador, Nigeria, Oman, India). The Jaguar A91 in the Air and Space Museum took part in several missions in Chad and in the Persian Gulf. It was hit by a missile during a raid on Al-Jaber in Iraq at the beginning of the first Gulf War. The aircraft entered the museum in January 2021.
