The most famous hike of the Verdon Gorges is the ‘Blanc Martel’ trail which starts from the Maline chalet. It links the most emblematic sites of the upstream section of the Verdon Grand Canyon such as the Mescla, the Imbert breach, the Fère cave, the Issane meadow, the Pigeons cave, and the Samson corridor. With a few spots equipped with ladders or rather vertiginous stairs, this 6 to 7-hour hike is forbidden to pets and is not suitable for children under seven years old.
