Hiking on the Lérins Islands

0
Two hikes described as easy by the Randoxygene Coastal Country guide allow walkers to discover the Lérins archipelago by offering a tour of its two main islands, Sainte-Marguerite (background) and Saint-Honorat (foreground). The first course crosses Sainte-Marguerite through a 2.7 mi (4.5 km) path starting from the boat landing. It leads visitors towards the western part of the island via the ornithological reserve of the Batéguier pond, the rocky coast, the pine forest, the Eucalyptus alley, and the Fort Royal. Shorter, the tour of Saint-Honorat Island allows walking its littoral for 1.8 mi (3 km) and visiting its abbey.
