Hand-assembled crucibles

0
The crucibles used to receive the incandescent glass mass are all manufactured on site at Lalique. Potter craftsmen shape them according to an ancestral method that has hardly changed. The refractory clay that composes them is extracted in the Bordeaux region. Once molded, the crucibles dry for a few months in a hot chamber. Their lifespan in the ovens extends over a few weeks and must not exceed 25 batches.
