After hunting, cheetahs must hide their preys as quickly as possible to avoid attracting vultures which, in turn, will attract predators more powerful than them : lions, hyenas, leopards and wild dogs. When a cheetah is robbed of its prey, it does not fight and abandons it without defending it. A female will hide her cubs in the bushes and regularly change their hideout in order to keep them away from predators.
