Manta rays move by enacting simultaneously their two fins thus giving the impression there are flying under the sea. They feed themselves with plankton, shellfish and sometimes small fishes. They direct their food thanks to their cephalic fins. They have a life an average expectancy of 20 years (which could according to some estimate extends to 50 years).
