Focus on the Bignose unicornfish
3
0
Morphologically, the Bignose unicornfish (Naso vlamingii) is characterized by a bony outgrowth located in front of the skull and by the presence of long, potentially venomous, sharp filaments on its caudal fin. Its coloration is variable and it can hide the vertical lines that punctuate its body. Herbivorous, it grazes the coral reef limiting the proliferation of algae and also feeds on zooplankton.
