The Ile-de-France Regional Council has presided over the destiny of the Villarceaux estate since 1989. Its park and its two castles were also classified as historical monuments in 1941. Located in Chaussy, in the department of Val d’Oise, the Domaine de Villarceaux is a historical ensemble of the Vexin. In the valley are the rehabilitated remains of the 16th and 17th century manor house. Found on the plateau, the Château du Haut (Upper Castle), built by Charles-Jean-Baptiste du Tillet (1710-1796), Marquis of La Bussière and Villarceaux, dates from 1759.
