At the end of a freeride session going down from Avoriaz to Switzerland, we had to walk for 30 minutes on a small path across the forest. I took off my snowboard to capture this unique moment. The snow had crystallized with the heat. The light was reflecting on the fir trees and the lake. It felt like the snow had turned into grass.
