Laurence Fanuel was born in Jemappes (Belgium) in 1969. A Ph.D. in biochemistry graduate, she worked for ten years at the Brussels research center where she followed an internal training in perfumery and became an innovative perfumer working across Europe. In 2008, she left Belgium to be a perfumer in Paris then Grasse, where she settled in 2011. Laurence Fanuel launched her own brand Rosa Rose there and entered the board of directors of the Pays de Grasse Living Heritage Association. Passionate about painting and performing arts, she also collaborates with the artistic community on the olfactory atmosphere of shows and exhibitions.
