Freeriding at the Mont-Dore Ski-Club

The Mont-Dore Ski-Club celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2007. Since its creation, the oldest ski club in Auvergne has gradually diversified by including other disciplines such as wheelchair skiing for disabled people, snowboarding, or freeriding. The freeride section of the Mont-Dore club was created during the 2010-2011 season by Gaylord Dugué, a high mountain guide. It was followed in March 2012 by the organization of the resort's first off-piste race.
