Rain forest, one of the ecosystems of the Blue River Provincial Park
1
0
The humid forests are one of the characteristic ecosystems of Grande-Terre, the main island of New Caledonia. Present in the Blue River Provincial Park, they are planted with palm trees, araucarias, houp trees (Montrouziera Cauliflora), tree ferns and kaoris. They coexist there with the mining scrubs and the dry forests.
