Cylindropuntia spinosior (Engelm.) F.M.Knuth es una especie de planta fanerógama de la familia Cactaceae.
Cylindropuntia spinosior tiene una estructura de árbol compacto con ramas dispuestas en verticilos y alcanza de 0,4 a 2 metros de altura.
Las flores son de color rosa a rojo púrpura, bronce, púrpura, amarillo o blanco. Los frutos cilíndricos, de color amarillo teñido púrpura son carnosos y con hoyuelos de 2-5 centímetros de largo y tienen un diámetro de 1,7 a 3 centímetros. Los frutos rara vez proliferan.
Es nativa de Sonora, Arizona y Nuevo México.
