Rubus ulmifolius, llamado zarzamora, entre otros numerosos nombres comunes, es una especie de arbusto de aspecto sarmentoso de la familia de las rosáceas y es popularmente conocido por sus frutos comestibles, llamados moras.
Las flores, pentámeras, tienen pétalos ovalados casi siempre rosados, a veces blancos, de unos 10-15 mm y los sépalos son grises o tomentoso-blanquecinos. Nacen en racimos, dando lugar a inflorescencias de forma oblonga o piramidal.
