Everything is used in the harvested flax. The long fibers will be combed until they become as fine as hair. They will become threads then flexible fabrics for the textile industry. Shorter fibers or tows will go into composite materials. The application sectors are multiple, design, sport & leisure, transport, construction. They can also be used to make rope.
