Still home to an important fishing tradition, it is also a popular seaside resort that attracts surfcasting enthusiasts on the beaches of Coudeville-sur-Mer, Saint-Martin-de-Bréhal, and Bricqueville-sur-Mer. Granville's jetty is frequented by both fishermen and visitors wishing to watch the sunset.
