This female buffalo has a horn anomaly that makes it very vulnerable. She can count on the protection of the herd, which never abandons a sick or weak buffalo and therefore gives it every chance of survival. In the event of an attack by a predator, the buffaloes, cussed by a cry of alarm, rush to the rescue of their defenseless congeners that they encircle for protection.
