The Przewalski horse is the only wild species in the horses group. It has several anatomical characteristics that bring it closer to the other equines (donkeys and zebras) than to the domestic horse. Among them, we can note the forward position of its eyes, the uniformity of its coat, its short mane, the mullet stripe on its back, and the welts that sometimes mark its legs.
