The crack of the 'Leap of the warrior' is located in the cliffs stretching between La Roche and Cap Coster on the northeast coast of Maré Island along the bay of Allier. The bay of Allier, the best drawn of the island, is entirely bordered by cliffs in its eastern part from La Roche while in its western part it has some localized beaches.
