The Poé fault, crossed by violent currents, is one of the most remarkable sites of the west coast of Grande-Terre concerning fish fauna. It is at the same time a place of concentration of big fish, of residence for emblematic species like the napoleons and the sharks, of passage for other species like the manta rays, guitar rays, big Serranidae or big Arangidae as well as of reproduction for many fish species.
