Donia Desidera is a Honduran potter who gives shape to the clay from the surrounding hills. Patiently, she models the clay body with adept, precise movements that she inherited from the women in her family. Without using potter’s wheel or mold, the artist shapes the clay to make a vase with proportionate forms, which requires great know-how.
