Old Tours (Indre et Loire). Place Plumereau, or Place Plume for the Tourangeaux, is a mandatory crossing point for anyone who offers a stay in Tour. Located in the Old Tours, historic district of the city, it will charm you at first glance by the magnificent buildings that surround it, testifying to different architectural currents. Between the charming half-timbered houses dating from the fifteenth century on the south side, or the pretty Renaissance style buildings, the Place Plume de Tours will make happy among architecture enthusiasts.
A place once dedicated to the sale of flowers to decorate hats and fruits, this part of the Old Towers was once called Carroi aux Chapeaux.
