The Exquisite Spike-Thumb Frog (Plectrohyla exquisita) is an endangered endemic species living in Cusuco National Park, in Honduras. Adult males of this species have one particularity: they have a second thumb. This fleshy appendage actually hides a bone spike used in territorial fights with other frogs.
