Saint-André Church in Besse-et-Sainte-Anastaise is an example of the Romanesque art that has established itself in Auvergne. It is faithful to the school of the diocese of Clermont-Ferrand that expresses combinations of volume through an impression of perpendicularity and unity. Saint-André Church has preserved its three 12th-century Romanesque naves and its transept, completed by a choir and chapels in the 16th century.
