Exploring the Yonne region from Joigny

0
Not far from the small Épizy bridge, Joigny is labeled a Ville d'Art et d'Histoire (Town of Art and History) on the banks of the Yonne. It still has many half-timbered houses, whose facades are decorated with medieval wooden or stone sculptures. The nearby vines of Côte Saint-Jacques allow observing the Yonne valley. Visitors can also rent an electric boat to explore the Yonne's diversion canal and the small stone bridge of Saint-Aubin.
