The Explorers
The Estive Bessarde is a panoramic viewpoint made up of pastures and forests located in the Puy-de-Dôme department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It is located to the west of Péalat and near the hors-sac Montchal refuge. The site extends 1,640 ft (500 m) south-east of Lake Pavin, between Puy de Montchal, the youngest volcano in France, and Puy de Pertuyzat.
