Stored almost immediately after harvest

The stacks of flax are stored almost immediately after harvest, the date of which is chosen carefully after inspection of the straws, which must neither be too dry nor too wet. The new harvest is ready to become long and silky fibers that would be transformed into ecological and comfortable clothing. To this end, the stacks enter a factory, like here at the Terre de Lin cooperative, where they are unrolled, flattened, separated, and combed.
