Between vineyards and canals
0
0
Known worldwide for its vineyards and gastronomy, the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region is accessible to discovery by bike or electric boat thanks to specially designed routes. The region is crisscrossed by numerous canals such as the Canal de Bourgogne, the Canal du Nivernais, the Canal du Centre, and the Yonne. On the vineyards' side, the Voie des Vignes connects Dijon to Beaune by bike (28 miles / 46 km) through Santenay and Nolay. It crosses the Climats and Terroirs of Burgundy listed as World Heritage by UNESCO.
