Putting on the harness

0
Before each sled departure, Pierre Daniel puts on their harnesses to his dogs, one after the other. A formality for this experienced musher, who perfectly masters this gesture which he daily reproduces with his eighteen dogs. To make it easier to put on the X-back harness and prevent the dog's mouth from being hampered by the crossing of the straps, it is best to start putting it on inside out and turn it over once the first buckle is passed.
