The Vey bridge spans the Vire near its mouth in the municipality of Veys, on the border between the Manche and Calvados departments in Normandy. It was built between 1804 and 1825 by Jacques-Pierre Pattu (1772-1839), the chief engineer of Calvados, according to plans proposed by the engineer of the Ponts et Chaussées Joseph Cachin (1757-1825). The bridge, which aimed to replace a ford only passable at low tide, is taken by a departmental road and the GR223 hiking route.
