Emblematic sites in the heart of Paris

This aerial shot reveals several emblematic monuments in the heart of the French capital. Centred on the Louvre Palace in the 1st arrondissement, it shows us the Cour Carrée of the famous museum, in the extension of which are the Cour Napoléon and the Louvre Pyramid. Then comes the Carrousel triumphal arch at the edge of the Tuileries Gardens. To the north of the Rue de Rivoli, you can see the green, rectangular garden of the Palais-Royal. To the right of the Louvre Palace, north of the church of Saint-Germain-l’Auxerrois and the Samaritaine department store, are the gardens of the Forum des Halles.
